Grace Sanutti, M.A., E.J.D.

Mrs. Sanutti has over 15 years of experience in the field of addiction, particularly focusing on eating disorders. Her extensive expertise encompasses both professional qualifications and personal insights into the recovery process, making her an empathetic and knowledgeable advocate for those navigating these challenges.

As a Pennsylvania native and founder of the ACBHS, Mrs. Sanutti has dedicated her career to improving the lives of individuals impacted by addiction and mental health issues.

Mrs. Sanutti has recently earned an Executive Juris Doctorate degree, further enhancing her qualifications and enabling her to address the intersection of law and mental health effectively. Her unique combination of skills and experiences positions her as a leader in her field, promoting recovery, education, and advocacy for vulnerable populations. 

Samuel Samuel MD, FASAM, DFAACAP

Chief Medical Director

Dr. Samuel is a highly qualified professional in the field of psychiatry, holding multiple board certifications that underscore his extensive expertise. He is board certified in Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Brain Injury Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, as accredited by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

His diverse certifications reflect a comprehensive understanding of various mental health conditions across different demographics, including children and adolescents, as well as specialized knowledge in the treatment of brain injuries and addiction-related disorders. Dr. Samuel’s multifaceted qualifications enable him to provide holistic and targeted care, ensuring that his patients receive the most effective and informed treatment options available.

With a commitment to advancing mental health awareness and treatment methodologies, Dr. Samuel is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for his patients and their families through compassionate and evidence-based practices.

Julie Leone, Psy.D., LPC.

Clinical Consultant

Dr. Leone holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Duquesne University and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Carlow University. Dr. Leone is licensed as a Professional Counselor and holds certifications Rational Behavioral Hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Sound Healing. She brings nearly 30 years of experience in the mental health field.

Dr. Leone has served as a clinical director and private practice owner, and clinical supervisor as well as an adjunct professor for several colleges and universities. Dr. Leone has worked in a variety of settings including home-based services, public schools, a state psychiatric hospital, and community mental health.

Dr. Leone’s areas of clinical expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, women’s issues, behavioral disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. She practices an eclectic approach from a Humanistic base which includes Rogerian-style therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, meditation and mindfulness training, behavioral management, and trauma therapy via EMDR.

Tazzarae Spivey Mooring PhD

Licensed Professional Counselor

Dr. Tazzarae Spivey Mooring affectionately known by her peers and clients as “Dr. Tazz” is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mentor, Educator, Author, Organizational Consultant, Speaker and Empowerment Coach. She is known for using her intuition in combination with her clinical training to touch the lives of the individuals who she has the honor to serve. With over 25 years of mental health counseling experience, she is well known for her spiritual gifts of genuineness, empathy, discernment and her innate ability to connect with others as well as show heart-felt compassion for her clients. Dr. Tazz provides a safe environment for individuals to share their stories, express their innermost feelings and truly express deeply embedded matters of the heart. While using an integrative counseling approach her primary areas of treatment have included the dismantling of the strongholds of addiction, anxiety, depression and trauma.

A native of Philadelphia,PA, Dr. Spivey Mooring is a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls’. She completed a (B.A) in Psychology at Temple University, a (M.A) degree in Group Counseling and Organizational Dynamics at Drexel University and she was awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy degree (Ph.D) in Counseling Psychology from the College of Education at Lehigh University. Throughout her career she has made a commitment to the development of holistic well-being among her clients focusing on the intersection of the mind, body and spirit. Consequently, she completed post-graduate studies at the Maryland Institute for Integrative Health.

Dr. Spivey Mooring’s clinical experience is extensive and diverse having provided mental health support for the chronically mentally ill and dually diagnosed populations in inpatient, outpatient and residential settings throughout her career. She also has forensic psychology work experience, is trained in assessment as well as various treatment interventions for individuals who suffer from trauma related disorders and PTSD. Dr.Tazz is the proud mother of two beautiful teen girls. In her free time, she enjoys a good book, traveling, yoga, meditation, walking, reading and writing poetry, scrapbooking, watching historical documentaries, spa days and spending quality time with friends and family..

Tabitha offers a safe and supportive space for adults experiencing a range of challenges, from everyday stressors to acute crises, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, OCD, grief, stress, self-harm, navigating major life changes, and those in addiction recovery. She understands the unique struggles that come with recovery, and I am committed to supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and regain a sense of control and purpose.

With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, Tabitha works to empower adults to cultivate self-awareness and personal growth as they navigate life's complexities. Her experience working with diverse populations has reinforced her belief that the client is the expert in their own life. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducation, she collaborates with you to trust your emotions, thoughts, and actions, while becoming aware of inaccurate or negative thinking patterns that may hinder progress, especially in recovery.

Tabitha works to approach each client with empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental stance, actively listening to understand their unique experiences. For those in recovery, this approach is particularly important as it fosters an environment where healing can take place without shame or stigma. She recognizes that life is fluid and ever-changing, and she aims to provide support that moves with you along your journey.
